How do I insert a picture into a page?
You can use the following syntax:  where "Globe" is the title of the image and "http://rurl.org/8dh" the address of the image. It's not possible (yet) to upload images to Jottit. For more formatting syntax, click on the "help" link in the upper right corner of the edit page.
Do you know of any good image hosting services with the same ease of use as jottit?

What formatting syntax does Jottit use?
Jottit uses Markdown. Click the "Formatting help" link in the upper right corner of the edit page for examples. Also, this page contains a link to the full syntax.
How does Jottit make money vs how much it costs?
Is it a volunteer job? If so, why is there no donation link? If not, where is Jottit's revenue coming from? How do you keep the servers running? (How much do you think a site like this costs? Look at Dreamhost people.)

How do you handle cross-site scripting?
You may notice that you can put JavaScript and other nefarious things in your Jottit site. But this is only true if a password is required to edit the site. If anyone can edit the site, the content is carefully sanitized. (Let us know if you can sneak anything through the sanitizer.) Our thinking is that you're free to screw with yourself.
How do I delete my site?
When signed into your site, click "settings" and scroll down to the "Delete site" section of the page. Click on the link "Delete this site".
How many jottit.com sites are there now?
Lots, in fact, if layed end-to-end they would reach to the edge of the universe and back...
Just did a Google search with site:jottit.com and got 50,000 results. Don't know the number of pages per site on average, but that's a lot of sites.
Why isn't there a print friendly style?
Because normally, blogs aren't to be printed. Simply copy and paste onto OpenOffice, and print.
Anyway, think twice before printing and save our forests.

No, you can't (unless you hacked the FTP password of the main site).

Create a new page with the name you want, copy/paste content of old page and then delete old page. Simple, isn't it.

Here is an example of what can be done with Google Adsense for Search. The search box has been configured within Adsense to limit the search to the pages of the site. Off course, it will only work if your pages were previously indexed by Google.

Is it possible to reverse the order of the links on the right side of the page? I'm producing a weekly report and would like to have the newest report on top
Links in the menu appear in alphabetical order. So if you prefix every page with, let say ZZ, ZY, ZX it will give you 13 years of weekly reports before getting out of letters.
